Josie wore her beautiful dress made by her Nana yesterday to church. What a little lady!

We took Josie to our church's Spring Fling, an annual event held at a church member's farm. Josie enjoyed the cows, or the "moos" as she calls them.

Where are those "moos," Daddy?

Josie is not walking on her own yet (although some first solo steps have been taken). She loves to take her parents on walks through the neighborhood with four favorite destinations: 1. To see the "owers" or flowers. 2. To see the neighborhood "kitties" 3. To climb the stairs. And 4. To go to the "puhga" or playground.

"Kitty!" "Kitty!" "Kitty!"

At the playground, she loves swinging with momma (or really anyone who will swing with her - she doesn't like swinging solo!).

Her next favorite is the "ide" or slide. She enjoys sliding down and...

Giving the slide some smacks to make a fun loud noise!

She also enjoys spotting the bees that hang out at the playground.

Josie enjoys greeting each stuffed animal after she wakes...here she tries to hug Pooh, Ducky, and Brown Bear all at the same time.

Best friends! Josie loves her friend "ibee" (Libby) and will be so sad when she moves this month to Nebraska. :(

Over Easter weekend, we traveled to NOVA to spend time with friends, celebrate Granddaddy's birthday, and go to the zoo. We spent Saturday morning with this gang of mommas and babies (momma's friends from high school).

Josie shows Oakley where to find the best rocks (she has had one month more experience being born in Feb. and Oakley in March!).

Oakley and Josie are quite troubled - they are incredulous that their mommas actually think that they would prefer a stroller ride to rock hunting.

Josie enjoys playing her own version of bocce with Daddy (basically involves passing the pallino back and forth, and getting frustrated when she can't hoist the other balls).
